*** CRITICAL NEED FOR FOSTER HOMES ***
Most of our dogs have never known the comforts of a home, the whurrr of a dishwasher, the coziness of a dog bed or the aroma of waffles on an easy Sunday morning. We have LOTS of puppies and smaller dogs that wouldn’t take up much space in your home, but would immensely benefit from a home environment. Foster homes help puppies learn important social skills. Fostering adult dogs gives them the time to recover from their previous life on the mean streets.
We are always in critical need of foster homes to save the lives of the animals in our care and reduce the burden on the rescue during these difficult times. Fostering is a short commitment and you get to help a homeless puppy or dog find their forever home. Please be a helper! Contact us if you are interested in our foster program.
NEWS! From Foster Mom Patricia as we continue moving to the new location:
"Today was pretty epic in the sense of “so close to the dream” kinda way. This morning at 7:30 Cynthia arrived to pick up Tulip Touletta & Bernadette for transport to the big bus departing from near San Antonio heading to new homes in Connecticut & Massachusetts. Thank you Beth for getting them both to Victoria vet yesterday for their health certificates so they both could get on the big bus!
Then…….
The film crew showed up at same time this morning. Yes! there's going to be a movie. Two of the crew were definitely in their element with dog love! Then our magnificent friends/volunteers showed up and got busy breaking down more fencing, kennels, and so much more.
There's absolutely no way we could’ve made this sprint, this relay week by week of moving dogs and moving hardware, without these incredible people! They are family, thank you everyone and thank God, for this family."
